What requirements you'll need to be eligible

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; 
    MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or relationship 
    management within the BFSI sector.
  • In-depth understanding of banking, financial services, and insurance industries, including regulatory environment, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and identify growth 
    opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and 
    influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in a similar role within the BFSI sector is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of financial products and services, such as loans, investments, insurance 
    policies, and risk management solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools for tracking leads, managing 
    pipelines, and generating reports.
What you'll be doing on the job

Job Description: 

1. Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyse data to assess market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards affecting BFSI sectors.

2. Business Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop comprehensive business development plans aligned with company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify key areas for growth and formulate strategies to penetrate new markets.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop pricing strategies and product offerings.


3. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate relationships with potential clients, including banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies.
  • Lead sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to onboard new clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.


4. Partnership Development:

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, including technology providers, regulatory bodies, and professional organizations.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop joint offerings, expand service capabilities, and enhance market presence.


5. Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Meet or exceed sales targets by actively prospecting and converting leads into 
    sales opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth across BFSI 
    segments.
  • Track sales performance metrics, analyse results, and adjust strategies as needed 
    to optimize outcomes.


6. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of business development efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to inform product roadmap and business strategy.
