What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong experience in accounting system implementation, including integration with procurement, budgeting, and financial reporting processes (e.g., PO system, ERP systems).
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and IFRS.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end accounting processes, from closing to financial reporting and tax compliance.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Startup experience preferred, with a demonstrated ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or professional certification is a plus).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
What you'll be doing on the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of accounting systems (e.g., PO systems, procurement integration).
- Oversee monthly closing, financial statements, and ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards and IFRS.
- Manage tax compliance and develop tax strategies.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Improve accounting processes and systems to drive operational efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team.
