What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in trading, with a focus on commodities and treasury management.
- Strong understanding of P&L management, capital allocation, and inventory trading.
- Experience in treasury operations within a bank or financial institution.
- Ability to design trading methods, implement strategies, and manage capital without managerial responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. Additional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
What you'll be doing on the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Trading & Strategy Design: Develop and execute trading strategies, particularly for commodities, while optimizing risk and return.
- P&L Management: Monitor and manage profit and loss (P&L) performance, ensuring trading strategies align with financial goals.
- Inventory Management: Provide insights and feedback on inventory trading, balancing exposure and optimizing the portfolio.
- Capital Management: Effectively manage capital for trading operations, ensuring liquidity and risk control.
- Market Analysis & Reporting: Analyze market trends and provide actionable insights to support trading decisions and strategy development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the treasury and risk management teams to ensure seamless execution of trading strategies.
